Mission Statement

The First African Baptist Mission Church, itself a product of mission, is dedicated to:

  • The Worship of God
  • The Exaltation of the Lord, Jesus Christ
  • The Equipping of the Saints for:
    • Personal spiritual growth
    • The Work of the Ministry
    • Mission work in Africa
    • The Proclamation of the Gospel

In response to the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to "Go and make disciples of all nation..." (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-49; Acts 1:8)


Objectives

  • To minister to African and Other Black Internationals in the Triangle area of North Carolina and to provide for them a Church, a Home-Away-From-Home
  • To emphasize and uphold family values and lifestyles that are in consonance with the Word of God
  • To provide an atmosphere conducive for a true and genuine worship of God and a wholesome fellowship.
  • To equip men, women, and children of the African Church for and to engage them in mission activities and projects in North Carolina and in different parts of Africa.
  • To equip members for the work of the ministry through leadership training, Bible study, and prayer opportunities.
