"I paint not by sight but by faith. Faith gives you sight." -Amos Ferguson

Shepherd's Studio is a place where people of all ages, at different stages in their lives and from varying places, can come together to study and create works of art. It is a place where we can discover God's gift of creativity that is within us. Here we gather for fun, fellowship, and learning. We practice our art skills through weekly art classes and develop an appreciation for the arts.

Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
Join us for an evening of art and fellowship! We will be meeting on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. at Shepherd's Studio. The main focus of our sessions is painting with oils on canvas. Supplies are provided for the first session. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to explore your creativity and have a fun time!

Weekly art classes are held to teach color theory and painting with oils on canvas. Monthly gallery shows feature the artwork of our members as well as special exhibits. We also sponsor "Young at Art Camp" for children of all ages.

Through painting we can see God's perfect order in all of His creation. Creating is the natural order of life. Our creative efforts enable us to open ourselves to God and His good, orderly direction. Our creative dreams and endeavors come from a divine source, and by using these gifts we can move closer to God.

You'll not find a more congenial, fun-loving group than this conglomeration of characters. We're all ages, we come from different places, and each one that attends is unique and special in their own wonderful way. We would love to have you join our group too!

No two of us paint alike. Even when painting the same subject, each finished product will be very different. It's wonderful to see what each person will come up with and to watch the group grow in their artistic endeavors! These finished paintings are true reflections of our feelings about what we have encountered - whether it is copying a master, painting a still life, or painting in plain air.
