Thankful to God for Answered Prayers of the International Ministry

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Matt. 7:7

We thank God for His Provision and for answering our prayer. A few weeks ago the International Ministry presented our requests to the Lord for new teachers and helpers for our ESL Program this year… God moved the hearts of people and they responded! Praise the Lord for His Work in our lives and community!

"For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.”
Luke 11:10

Joining our amazing team of teachers and leaders this semester are seven new volunteers! The people who make up the International Ministry will be serving the Lord through teaching English, Bible, and befriending our international neighbors. Thank you to Samantha Thomas and Hannah Chandler who will be helping Wednesday nights with the English Conversation and American Culture Classes. Thank you to Cristina Dorne and Noreen Duffy who are teaching Sundays with the ESL Bible Classes. A previous intern, Terri DeBerry, has moved from serving Sundays, to join our Wednesday evening team, and will be teaching our High Intermediate English Class. Additionally, we are pleased to include 3 more interns on Wednesdays. When you see them involved with the International Ministry on Wednesday, please greet and welcome to Joan, Anna, and William from N.C. State.

“The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.”
Psalm 145:18

People come seeking to improve their English Language ability for a myriad of reasons. They also have hidden unmet needs just below the surface of language. It is an honor and privilege for Forest Hills to equip and guide people to meet education, cultural, social- adjustment, emotional needs, all leading to encountering God, and ultimately fulfilling spiritual need through His Holy Spirit. We thank God for this open door to share the love and peace of Christ with our global community on the corner of Dixie Trail and Clark Ave.

Stay tuned for more, the semester is just beginning….
