We are seeking an accompanist for its Sanctuary Choir and to play in worship with the praise band. Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:15, and there is also a band rehearsal on Sunday mornings prior to worship, typically beginning at 9:15; the worship service is at 11:00. The ability to sightread and read chord charts/lead sheets is a plus, as Forest Hills has a blended style of worship with most hymns and songs led by the praise band. An Offertory and Postlude will also be needed in addition to playing with the praise band and accompanying the choir. The choir performs an annual Christmas Cantata, as well as extra music during Lent and Easter; there will be a few additional rehearsals during those seasons of the year.
