Associate Pastor for For Youth and Missions

We are seeking an Associate Pastor for Youth and Missions who will provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the youth and mission ministries of the church. The minister will lead in planning and implementing special age-group activities and programs appropriate for the spiritual growth of youth and their families, while also leading mission efforts including the cultivation of sustainable relationships with new and existing mission partners.  The minister will work closely with appropriate teams, committees, and staff to realize the overall mission of Forest Hills Baptist Church: Love God. Associate Pastor for Children and Adult Ministries

We are seeking an Associate Pastor for Children and Adult Ministries who will provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the children and adult ministries of the church. The minister will lead in planning and implementing special age-group activities and programs appropriate for the spiritual growth of children and their families, while also providing direction and administrative oversight for the young adult ministry, the men’s and women’s ministries, and the senior adult ministries of the church. Accompanist

We are seeking an accompanist for its Sanctuary Choir and to play in worship with the praise band. Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:15, and there is also a band rehearsal on Sunday mornings prior to worship, typically beginning at 9:15; the worship service is at 11:00. The ability to sightread and read chord charts/lead sheets is a plus, as Forest Hills has a blended style of worship with most hymns and songs led by the praise band. An Offertory and Postlude will also be needed in addition to playing with the praise band and accompanying the choir. The choir performs an annual Christmas Cantata, as well as extra music during Lent and Easter; there will be a few additional rehearsals during those seasons of the year. Church accompanying experience is a plus. Salary is $300/week, negotiable. Three weeks of paid vacation are also included. For more information, please email paul@foresthills.org.
