Unexpected Acts of God (5/26-6/9)- Sometimes our spiritual lives feel less than exciting. We trod through everyday life, not feeling very passionate about living out our faith. So, where do we turn for inspiration? The resurrection of Jesus is a good place to start because it set off a series of unexpected events and changes for Jesus’ followers. Several of these stories are found in the book of Acts, where there is no shortage of surprises. This three-week sermon series will explore a few of these stories, which can awaken in us a new desire for God’s work in our lives and world. Also, we will be invited to learn the spiritual habit of welcoming the unexpected from God.
