Interested in joining with other women for Bible study, fellowship and fun? This Fall, we’ll be studying the book of Esther. This Old Testament book is a wonderful story of God’s sovereignty, involvement with His people, and His faithfulness! Esther’s story is an against-all-odds, rags-to-riches story and we see that God has a purpose and plan, even when life doesn’t look the way it was imagined. God’s fingerprints are all over this story, even though God is not mentioned in this book. While this story takes place in the ancient Persian Empire, God is still at work in our world today. May we hear the call of God on our lives for such a time as this.
We’ll meet in person on Thursday mornings at Forest Hills in the church parlor from 10:00 AM - Noon starting September 25 through November 13. Frances Overby is facilitating the study. Be sure to register so we can plan to obtain a study book for you. This Fall, we will be using Kelly Minter’s “Daring Faith For Such A Time As This – Esther.”
