The weather has turned cold and two families involved in the International Ministry are in need of blankets and warm jackets. The families have 4 children under the age of 10. If you have some warm items to share, please drop them by the office for Jason.
Thank you to all, Samaritans Sunday School Class, individuals, Children's Essential Ministry, and more for your overflowing generosity helping a family in need! Sunday afternoon these gifts were given to the father, one blanket and perfectly fitting coat for each of his children! What's more, Monday the man, his wife, and youngest girl came to church to say thank you and to share that his neighbors, also from Iraq, could use the additional coat that had been given. These neighbors were invited to ESL class this Wednesday, and the man offered to give them a ride. As a result of God's provision through your generosity, the witness of Christ is spreading in our community!
Pray for the ESL Basic Teacher Training taking place at Forest Hills January 23-25 - is God nudging you to teach or be a friend? Contact Jason@foresthills.org to register by January 15. The harvest is plentiful.
