Kep Pate was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and attended Clemson University, where he met his wife Sara Bailey. Kep and Sara Bailey have two children, Henry and Lilly Stocks. As a college student, Kep served as an international missionary with IMB and North American Mission Board. Before coming to Forest Hills, Kep served as the Youth Pastor at Johns Creek Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA for five years and served as the Director of YMCA Camp High Harbour at Lake Burton. Kep is currently a Doctorate of Ministry candidate at the McAfee School of Theology, where he graduated with his Masters of Divinity in 2017. Prior to attending seminary Kep interned at a local church and served as the Assistant Campus Minister for the Baptist Collegiate Student Ministry at his alma mater.
