Guest Relations

Starting in March, we’ll begin providing bagged lunches for the RRM’s overnight emergency shelter guests twice a month. In many cases, these bagged lunches may be the only meal that these emergency shelter guests (men, women, and children) will eat for that day. FHBC will be providing all of the items needed to assemble and pack these lunches on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. From 5:00pm – 6:30pm, you can join us in the back of the Fellowship Hall (near the stage) to pack as many or as few lunches as you’d like. Bagged lunches will be delivered to the RRM on these nights so that they can be distributed the following day.

Piano Lesson Ministry

Our next round of piano lessons are set to begin on Wednesday, 9/5. We’re still in need of a few volunteer assistants for our piano teachers for the 4:30 pm-5:30 pm  class.

Several of our longest serving children's ministry volunteers are taking a well deserved break, and we need your help to carry forward their ministry! We need a couple of volunteers to watch children during worship (once every two months), and one or more teachers for the 1-2 year old Sunday School class (a more regular commitment). If you would help us nurture faith in the next generation, contact Andrew (andrew@foresthills.org/828-6161x108).

International Ministry

Serve God and reach the nations with your native language! We need teachers, or people to help our teacher by by having conversations in English during our Wednesday night English Classes from 6-7:45 pm, or talking about the Bible in English during our ESL Bible Classes on Sundays from 9:15-10:45 am

Prayer is desperately needed for immigrants and refugee neighbors and the uncertainty they are facing, for the International Ministry, and Language Churches.

Or join our recreation team and help lead community outings.
